As an educated consumer, I encourage you to shop around and compare prices. Be certain to ask prospective developers the following questions:

• What does your design include?
• What can you do for me as far as search engines?
• What kinds of publicity can I expect from you?
• How will my pages look on different browsers?
• What if my viewers are surfing with images turned off?
• What references can you provide?

My prices are quite reasonable. I see other developers charge more than $1,000 for website development and design without providing visibility pointers, quality graphics, and other key items.
