First - Be A Resource And Part Of The Community, Not Just A Vendor

People prefer buying from a trusted source. You can become a trusted source by providing free resources and goodies for your customers! For example, note all the free entrepreneur resources/links on this site! I don't just sell The Internet Marketing Edge - I give away a lots of information and starting points for free. The entrepeneur community knows me at http://www.ablake.net/forum and http://www.friendsinbusiness.com/board .

For my other products such as The Internet Recruiting Edge and The Real Estate Pro's Internet Edge, not only did I create sites to showcase them, I added free web marketing centers, became a columnist for the Boston Herald and the news section of NAR, and participated freely in many discussion and mailing lists.
