Long long ago,
back when the earth’s crust cooled and I was a young lass, I read about the original MIT Model Railroad Club from the super book Hackers. They accomplished some truly brilliant goodies back then, ranging from hacking PDPs to mapping out the subway station and beyond.
Well, MIT is doing it […]

Have your kids
ever wondered how some people can grow killer tomatos? Okay, perhaps not man-eating, but really big huge bleeping tomatos? Ask your kids what they think, and then tell them:
Turns out there’s a specific gene that’s responsible. To wit:
… The secret behind growing large tomatoes lies not in the fertilizer […]

Do your kids have problems with Calculus?
More importantly….do you want to introduce your kids to Calculus before the school does, thus giving them a firm grounding in principles they can actually understand?
If so, I urge you to visit Calculus Without Tears by Berkeley Science. I had a chance to go over some […]

This is lousy on all sorts […]

Morning,
I really think I now possess enough character that future character-building is really, ahem, not necessary! Are you hearing me, destiny?
It’s apparent to me that while I’m healing well, bicep-wise, I’m really regretting letting go of several martial arts activities (sparring to be precise). So I’ve been finding myself just staying away […]

Morning,
Share this one with your kids:
… She has been named Beauty, though this eagle is anything but.
Part of Beauty’s beak was shot off several years ago, leaving her with a stump that is useless for hunting food.
A team of volunteers is working to attach an artificial beak to the disfigured bird, in an effort […]

Morning,
So much writing to do, so little time.
I’ve been taking my own advice lately and singing my own song regarding making money online. Thus, I’ve put up a nice Welcome Message to my entrepreneurial site and also wrote:
What’s YOUR Story?

Walking the walk I always talk, I give away a complimentary copy of […]
