You know, lately all the Internet is aflame with extolling the virtues of Twitter
(what’s that? You’re suddenly seized by an insane craving to follow me there? Why certainly, it’s @barbaraling!).
But I digress. 
Just look at:

But with all the hoopla, I figured…why follow the herd? Why write why Twitter is soo utterly magnficient beyond all belief? Why hop onto the bandwagon and write a blog post titled:
- Twitter Is the Meaning of A Nirvanaed Life!
- Twitter Makes Coffee Taste Fresher!
- Twitter Rox!
- Twitter Needs Socks!
- Twitter Adroitly Saved My Washing Machine From Being Thrown off the Docks!
etc.etc.etc.
No sirreee, that would be common sense to the extreme! Instead, I shall be bold, I shall be daring, and I shall gracefully pen (keyboard?):

Ready? Okay, here goes!

ARGH! And yes, I’ve received that – at close to 4000 followers, the DMs I receive are mind-bogglingly bizarre indeed.
I made 492 Million on Twitter within the last 9 microseconds…and I’ll show you how!
Argh. And I made the World Debt by playing Rock Paper Scissors too.
Don’t set up DMs that tell me those hyped up unbelievable marketing claims. It makes me unfollow you with a vengeance.

As if I wanted to clean up all those flying body parts by exploding my Twitter followers?

Then again, who needs to make money in today’s economy?
