“The Crusades are ancient history because they didn’t have cell phones” - History for kids and some great teaching resources
Kids think the Crusades are Ancient History because they didn’t have any cell phones back then? (I kid you not, my kids’ friend gravely explained this to me yesterday).
If so, you might want to dig up some history resources that make learning more engaging. Here’s some of the best:
- History for Kids
- Smithsonian National Museum of American History for Kids
- The History Kids
- Ancient Rome for Kids
- A History Teacher Blog
- History is Elementary
Teens never do cease to perplex me. At least, however, I can still teach ‘em well.
ThankYouVeryMuch!
