You can also contact your local township to see what their Parks and Recreation offers. My town, for example, offers 8 weeks of 3 hours/day for $150 a kid. And my local community college has week long science programs as well.
Failing all that, you can also craft your own summer camp too! I run Camp Ling for my kids; this year will be the 4th year. Amazing how quickly time goes by! Lessee….so far, I’ve done:
- Year 1 - general crafts/science/math/swimming/etc.
- Year 2 - Built a program around Runescape plus the above
- Year 3 - Built a program around Naruto, anime, learning Japanese, karate, and the above
- Year 4 - (this year) - will center around World of Warcraft, making money online, karate, and the above.
It works out quite well.
