Stop the world, I want to get off

Life has been

just too much character-building lately. Sometimes….I really really really REALLY wish I knew how NOT to give a damn, how NOT to care, how NOT to see other people’s sides of things…..

If only I was one selfish woman who focused solely upon my wants and desires and lacked the ability to see from where others are coming!

Sigh.

And even worse….every single freakin’ time things like this happen, I see an opportunity to teach my kids…which means I relive my decisions and explain to them just how to examine all points of a disagreement/argument/misunderstanding etc.

It’s just too much, I tell you.

To those who have been given much, much is expected….but gosh, sometimes I really and honestly and truly wish I just care about only me. Me, me and oh yes, don’t forget about me.

More sighs.

Ah well - these things happen. And most likely, happen for a reason. We’ll see what that is…. in the future.
