Easily Save Your Loved Ones From Being Horribly Scammed – Covert Angel Time!

Angels in disguiseMorning!

As you’re aware, the Virtual Coach site is all about building a healthy income online.

But did you know it’s also about looking out for your loved ones, friends and families online as well?

Lots of that is covered over in my Virtual Coach Income Fitness forums, where we warn the online community about scams that obliterate the Internet.

You know what I’m talking about, right?  Things like

Make Insane Amounts of Money By Shutting Off Your Brain and Believing The Following Lies!!!!!!!

sites are becoming more prevalent online than a plague of slime-infested mosquitos.

I’m talking, of course, about sites that tell you it’s ONLY $1.98 to access 7 days’ worth of information, and then hit your credit card for the $99/month fees that were revealed ONLY in the Terms of Service page.

I was interviewed about that last week (you can read the article at I’m quoted in the LA Times about Twitter, Scams, Buyer Beware, and Reading the TOS).   And you can see other newsworthy articles about similar scams over at

Lousy, isn’t it?  As you’re probably pretty familiar with Why some online marketers hide the truth from you and what you can do about it, you’re probably well-scam-proofed already.  But….let’s now explore this idea beyond yourself.

Because you’ve found your way to this site, chances are….you’re pretty savvy online compared to the majority of your friends.  You’re aware of the scams that abound, you’re diligent about NOT plunking down your money if something sounds too good to be true.

Right?

Well then now, tell me this….are your FRIENDS just as knowledgeable?

I didn’t think so.

Thus, let me suggest the following to you – why don’t you today proactively alert them to the fact such scams exist and will hit their inbox?

It’s an easy thing to do.  You can simply point them to the articles listed above….or even go beyond that with consumer scam news too like:

And then you can show them recourses like:

and point them also in the direction of:

FTC – An Inside Look Into Fraud

Deter. Detect. Defend. Avoid ID Theft

Remember….one of the greatest gifts you can give your friends and family is that of your knowledge.  Forewarned is forearmed….and helping the people you cherish and love stay free from scams is a Very Good Thing indeed.

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling

Now I’m really scared! I only recently discovered that folk hack blogs and that I needed protection, and as you know, my Twitter knowledge is pitiful. Glad you and other folk I trust are doing posts like this. Thanks!(I will attempt to tweet, stumble, rock n’ roll after I submit this!)

Hi there Barbara – LOL at the slime-infested mosquitoes! Although I look at these sorts of sites now and then, I don’t take them seriously – if the cost isn’t mentioned up-front I lose interest. My friends and family either hardly use the internet at all or wouldn’t take any interest in making money online – so they are pretty safe!

  3. I checked out that Neopets link. What a valuable piece of information. THANK YOU! My daughter has just joined Club Penguin and I’ll be sure to have a talk with her about this kind of scam. Tho she currently does not read or send e-mails, I’ll give her the heads-up about the possibility of this kind of “secret site” promising free stuff.

Just beyond reprehensible what the mal-warers do.

Glad your family is safe online! It’s amazing the traps for which one has to look out…

My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it!

  7. I’ve had to lock down my kids computer as my 8 year old will go online and start typing a site he thinks he heard and his spelling is sometimes off. Those parental controls from Windows Live are a great way to protect your kids for free.

Smart move! I’ll have to remember that one.
