Overdoing it with Spring Break

Morning!

Well, if there’s one thing I learned yesterday, it’s that even superMoms like myself can, ahem, overdo it a weeeee bit.

On Thursday, it was such a beautiful day outside that I took the kids to the park instead of karate. While there, I chose to do 2 chinups and rest, 2 chinups and rest….all the way to the point of failure. Wheeee!

Yesterday, my biceps woke me up and gently took me to task for being so, well, idjut-like. It affected my BJJ workout and my karate classes as well, and don’t get me started on the aches in my back! Ah well, these things happen.

Good news is that the full night’s sleep seem to have put things back to normal…but I’ll be taking things quite easy today as well.

Familywise, kids had 1/2 a day yesterday and I gave them a break to enjoy the computer for extra hours. Spring break will be happening…I have to prepare for that too.

Workwise, I have to update all my Rich Hermit series and continue in my other blog postings/site buildings too. Wheee! Not looking forward to that at all.
