Forbidden Kingdom, site building, fun stuff and more!
Morning,

School will be out in less than 2 months. Can you believe that? I started last month or so planning out the summer; I now realize I need to add some massive physical education to it as well. Yesterday while my husband took some of our kids swimming, I practiced karate with my eldest and was able to outlast her with zero problems in sparring, kicks, even side-step kicking/balancing down the hallway. We certainly must looked rather odd at the gym, but hey… it was tons of fun!!
Still, though, my kids are ‘way below me when it comes to being fit…and I do have to address that. Whee, not. Oh, and I took them and friends to see Forbidden Kingdom - truly a super movie! (”This is strike! Tomorrow I teach you block!”)
Martial arts wise, I learned one heck of a lot regarding sparring on Saturday…and have been practicing at home. I so regret not knowing this back when I was a kid and didn’t have to go looking for adult lessons. Sigh. Oh well, what is, is … so I’ll continue on the journey of which I set out over a year ago in one form or another.
Work is moving along nicely and methinks my summer plans are set. Spring break is over; kids are back in school and today is massively major workMode.
Time to start the coffee,
Barbara
