Ever wonder what Income Fitness is NOT? Part 1

Income FitnessMorning!

You’ve probably seen the words Income Fitness all over the place with my blog, my forums and the like.

Ever wonder what is NOT?

Income Fitness Is NOT A Fad

Losing weight by detaching your arm is a fad.

Making money with cookie cutter sites is a fad.

The “Sneeze Off Your Weight” diet is a fad.

Income Fitness, however, is NOT a fad.  And here’s why.

The theme behind making your income healthy and fit for years to come is a long-term process.  By definition, a fad is:

a temporary fashion; a craze, interest or activity that (some) people follow enthusiastically, but lasts for a short period of time

Now, you’re a smart, savvy person, right?  I’m pretty certain you DON’T want your income to be peachy neato for a month or so and then dive into the sewers of New York City, right?

In other words, Income Fitness is NOT a short-term process.  It’s NOT something that you set-it-and-forget-it (although such sites can be PART of your overall Income Fitness profile).

Fads are just that…FADS.  They quickly arrive with a fanfare of shallowness and just as quickly dissipate when the hype and froth dissolves online.

But you do NOT want that!  No indeed…instead, you want something that is long-term and will NOT dry up should the economy change.

In other words….

Income Fitness is NOT Buying The Dream.

OMIGOSH.

If I had a nickel for every human bean who asked me WHY an Iron Clad online money-making guarantee was NOT worthwhile.

Please internalize the following.

·       A marketer’s job is to make something so incredibly appealing, you’d sacrifice your kids’ college education to buy it.

·       A consumer’s job is to RESEARCH the claims and see just what REALLY is true…and what isn’t.

Period, end of discussion.

Take, for example, the following marketing email that showed up on my forums:

$1,344,086 per hour (yes, really)

The thrust of the email centered upon how casinos in Las Vegas rake up HUUUUUGE amounts of money (which is very true indeed!).  Casino marketing is art.

But the PS:

PS – If you’re serious about making
massive cash fast (which I know
you are) then you need to learn
from people and businesses who
are already doing it.

The people behind these businesses
are raking in an obscene $1.34 Million
per hour and finally,
for the first time, someone has
dared to reveal their
darkest marketing secrets
so you can copy them.

Um.

Can you tell me what the problem with the above marketing IS?

I’ll give you a hint – first ask yourself:

What kind of budgets do casinos use to market their goods?

I’ll give you a hint  – read

and then read the copy above one more time.

Tell me if you can spot the problem….I’ll outline it tomorrow!

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling

OK Barbara, answer me this. What if you were savvy enough to get in on the fad when they were smokin’ hot and get out while the gettin’ was good, ready to catch the next hot fad? Sounds like it could be a money spinner, or would you liken that to the ‘Losing weight by detaching your arm fad’. :D

  2. I agree about a consumer’s job. I don’t know why people don’t research more before they part with their money.

Because they get seduced by the dream, pure and simple. :(

It’s all in the long-term profits. For example, I was the premier trainer in Internet recruiting for many years, until the dotcom bubble burst. My smokin’ hot profits disappeared into smoke! :)

Ask yourself, where are you willing to put in the effort – short term or long term? The answer could surprise you. :)
