I’m pleased to announce that Income Fitness is receiving tremendous reviews!  And these aren’t your typical, "I WANNA grab my affiliate commission so I’ll review it" reviews, but really well-thought out and insightful essays instead!  Here are two you can check out:

Really…go check out those reviews, I’m rather humbled by what is said.

But here’s something to consider!  You might be wondering right now that if I launched two days ago, how come there aren’t MORE reviews online? Read more

So….. a different kind of squeeze page is needed.  One with video!  One with action!  One with excitement!

You get the idea, eh?  :)

Launch your affiliate signup page into the stratosphere Part 1

RocketDo you have your own product that you market on your site?

Or perhaps…do you have a newsletter signup, or a "Why subscribe to My RSS" page?

If so, let me gently whisper the following killer question:

Does it EXCITE the reader?

Wait  a second, those weren’t enough capital letters.  Let me try again!

DOES IT EXCITE THE READER?

Hmmm, something is still missing.  Hey, I know – not enough question marks!

DOES IT EXCITE THE READER?????

And yellow!  It’s missing BOLD YELLOW!

DOES IT EXCITE THE READER?????

Hey!  This reminds me of the Paint Program!

DOES IT EXCITE THE READER?????

Okay okay, I might have gotten a weeee bit carried away.  :)   The point remains (must….resist!….must!….resist!…CAN’T…RESIST!!!!!)

¿¿¿¿ɹǝpɐǝɹ ǝɥʇ ǝʇıɔxǝ ʇı sǝop

Which reminds me, does your page excite the reader?

Does it make them stand up and say "Jeepers, this is an affiliate program that is easy to use, profitable as well, and comes complete with nifty-neato support?"

Designing your affiliate signup page can be most character-building indeed.  However, one way to give wings to your imagination is to use Google and see what OTHER affiliate manglers are doing.

Try this search:

The tag, "inurl", simply tells Google to concentrate specifically on pages that have "affilate_signup.html" someplace in the URL.

Lookie what’s returned!

Go ahead, click on the links above and really take a look at the way the pages are *designed*.  Especially  the links in red!  And then ask yourself…which pages show the person running the affiliate program really wants the affiliates to make money?

HMMM?

Remember, sales copy should NOT only be for your product page!  Making your affiliate signup page ooze attractiveness can also help beef up your bottom line.

So what are some of the nifty points you can bring into YOUR affiliate signup page?

  • Have a compelling Headline.  "Sign up here!" is not.  "You can start cashing in on what everyone wants!" is.
  • Make It Idjut-Proof.  Don’t have your potential affiliates jump thru 38 hoops in order to sign up.  At the very least, get their name and email.  At the most, get their Clickbank name, their country, etc.  Do NOT ask for their life’s story (that can be incorporated into your affiliate autoresponder followup!  :)   ).
  • Have a Prominent Terms of Agreement page.  That’s just common sense.
  • Put lots of half-clad wenches and he-wenches on the page Make sure to include tasteful graphics that add to the overall professionalism of your site.

While not everyone is a Super Affiliate on this planet, there ARE those affiliates who will appreciate you going that extra step in helping THEM achieve their own personal goals.  Make sure that’s evident from the get-go (ie, your affiliate signup page) and you’re already heading in the right direction.

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling
