How marketers can sell these ideas for the price it is commanding…amazing. 

Luckily, there are far more cost-conscious ideas out there!  For example, Video Assassin (look thru my blog for my review, it’s excellent) gives you quality ideas and takes you by the hand for precise how-to steps for marketing….at a fraction of the cost.

Remember peoples, whenever big huge expensive launches come out, you should first explore if anything else exists that costs much less yet does deliver on the promises.

You’ve probably seen the words Income Fitness all over the place with my blog, my forums and the like.

Ever wonder what is NOT?

Income Fitness Is NOT A Fad

Losing weight by detaching your arm is a fad.

Making money with cookie cutter sites is a fad.

The “Sneeze Off Your Weight” diet is a fad.

Income Fitness, however, is NOT a fad.  And here’s why.

The theme behind making your income healthy and fit for years to come is a long-term process.  By definition, a fad is:

a temporary fashion; a craze, interest or activity that (some) people follow enthusiastically, but lasts for a short period of time

Now, you’re a smart, savvy person, right?  I’m pretty certain you DON’T want your income to be peachy neato for a month or so and then dive into the sewers of New York City, right?

In other words, Income Fitness is NOT a short-term process.  It’s NOT something that you set-it-and-forget-it (although such sites can be PART of your overall Income Fitness profile).

Fads are just that…FADS.  They quickly arrive with a fanfare of shallowness and just as quickly dissipate when the hype and froth dissolves online.

Okay, I know, I know….that’s like saying, do you breathe?  It’s just common sense, right? 

Anywhos, as you might know, Facebook last Monday offered users the option of having their own profile page online.  And most people are choosing names like

I just received the following email, addressed to my Virtual Coach forums.

I just paid my $1.99 to join twitter and was given a link with the user name twitter and password profits. The link did not work. I would like to know what to expect. Will I receive something in the mail? Will I receive something by email? How will I be able to login? I tried to login on this home page and that did not work either. Please advise.

Tell a story to your customers that SHOW them what they will gain with xyz - saving money, getting chicks (or he-wenches), being admired, gaining prestige etc.etc.

Ain’t it just peachy grand-like?

Seriously, however….I’ve been teaching people how to find things online now since the late 1990s, and it occured to me….that’s a gift I have.  Why not share it?

Which brings me to the point of this post.

You probably have superb skills that nobody else possesses, right?  Why not share them at Squidoo?  I’ve discovered he audience there is completely different than your typical IM crowd - very helpful, very "tell me everything and don’t assume I know what you do etc.", etc. 

And because your lenses link to your lensmaster profile, you can also start to drive traffic BACK to your flagship sites….because the folks on Squidoo probably aren’t aware of you as it stands NOW.

Why not change that for the better?

Your bottom line will thank you for it!  Mine….certainly is.

Over the past week, I’ve been teaching myself one heck of a lot regarding using Squidoo.  I can’t believe I’ve been so remiss with learning about this site!

First off, what IS Squidoo, I hear you ask? 

The brainchild of Seth Godin, it gives anyone who can type on a keyboard the ability to craft a  useful page about their interests in one location so others can benefit from their knowledge.

I’m quite hooked on the goodness of Squidoo for a multitude of reasons.  One, it levels the playing field for anyone to make their mark on the Internet.  Even if you don’t know a lick of HTML or CSS, you can easily pull in videos, images, links, quizzes, polls and much more via its module interface.
